Our Story

Tidwell Air Systems LLC was established in 2002 by Dennis & Kathy Tidwell. Our heart & vision was to serve our community with quality expertise, service & installations in the HVAC industry at affordable pricing. One of the first things we realized in offering our services was that the simple qualities that came naturally to us such as answering our phones, actually showing up to a job site, performing the service in a timely manner & at an affordable price set us apart.

Over the years, we have enjoyed & prided ourselves on lasting relationships formed with clients who call & depend on us year after year.

In 2018, we were blessed to welcome our Grandson, Joshua Fields to our Tidwell Air Systems team. It was our dream for Joshua to one day be in the position to own Tidwell Air Systems LLC. Under the leadership of his grandfather, Dennis, he has far exceeded any of our expectations in his knowledge, work ethics & customer relations & brought his own talents of up to date technology to our business.

August 5, 2023, we sadly lost Dennis, our fearless leader to a massive heart attack. Although I had a State of Alabama emergency HVAC license until December 5, 2023, we could not operate after that deadline without an active license. It was suggested that Joshua apply & sit for the 5 hour state exam which he took & passed!

After much prayer & consideration, Joshua & I made the decision to move forward with the legacy that Dennis left behind, built on the same foundation of honesty & integrity & heart to not only serve but be involved in our community.
